I know these cookies look disgusting. But (of course) they taste amazing!
I found this recipe at VegWeb.com, and I’ve had my eye on it for quite a while. Admittedly, the batter didn’t turn out very moist, which is why my cookies look so crumbly, but trust me, they taste like heaven!
2 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
cinnamon to taste
vegan chocolate or carob chips – put in as many as you like (I used regular chocolate chips, but thats just because I’m lazy)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon. Add chips. Make a well in the center and set aside.
In a medium size bowl mix sugar and oil. Mix it well. Add the vanilla and then add the water. Mix it well. Add the wet to the well in the dry. Mix it well but be careful not to overwork it. Add more chips if you need to. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Put them in the oven. Bake for about 9 minutes.
